Privacy policy
Asyatt. Inc. ("Asyatt.", "we") respects the privacy of the people we host and the people who write to us. This policy explains what we collect through this website and our messaging channels, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. What we collect
Details you give us in our forms: your name, email address, country, phone or WhatsApp number, travel dates, the number and ages of guests, the purpose of the trip, budget if you choose to share it, and anything you write in the message.
Messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or Instagram, including the name and number or account shown with them, and the time they were sent.
Technical information: the page you came from and campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source), and, only if you agree, analytics cookies that tell us how the site is used.
2. Why we use it
To reply to you, plan and host your journey, and keep a record of what we have agreed.
To understand which channels and pages people use to reach us, so that we can reply faster and improve our service. We look at this as totals, not to profile individuals.
To send news you have asked for, such as the opening of Tokyo and Kyoto or the shop. You can stop these at any time.
3. Legal basis (for guests in the UK and EU)
We process your details to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform it, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving our service, and on your consent for news and analytics cookies.
4. Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with the partners who deliver your journey (for example restaurants, guides and transport providers), and with service providers who host or process data for us: website hosting, our database, email delivery, and Meta for WhatsApp and Instagram messages. We do not sell personal information.
Some of these providers store data outside Japan, including in the United States. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard equivalent to Japanese and, where relevant, UK and EU law.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and messages for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and then delete them.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show, correct, stop using or delete the information we hold about you, and to stop sending news. Write to reservation@asyatt.com and we will reply without undue delay.
